Israel is a serial aggressor. Its lawlessness can no longer be tolerated. Mass outrage and world pressure must build for a global campaign for boycott, divestment and sanctions until its human rights abuses stop, its war crimes are punished, its occupation and colonization end, Palestinian refugees have the right to return, and the people of Gaza and the West Bank achieve their long-denied self-determination rights in an internationally recognized sovereign state, free from Israeli oppression. Famous Factious Flinging of Footwear

Did you read or hear recent news reports that the Iraqi television newsman who heaved his shoes at George W. Bush during a press conference in Baghdad on December 14 is scheduled to go to trial on December 31, charged with assaulting a foreign leader?

Yep. A spokesman for the Iraqi Higher Judicial Court said that a conviction would carry a sentence of up to two years in prison for Muntadhar al-Zeidi. Apparently neither Bush nor the Iraqi prime minister, Nouri al-Maliki, who was standing beside Bush when the now-famous factious flinging of footwear occurred, have sought charges against al-Zeidi.  But the judicial official who investigated the incident said there was no legal option to drop the case. I Voted Yes

I ran across a poll on the Internet that asked if I thought that Radical right wing groups are busy posting on the Internet hate stuff about Obama.  I voted yes. But I wasn’t sure by groups, whether the poll poster meant working together as a network, planned talking points group.  If that was meant to be the question I would have voted no.
