One last reminder to Mr. Obama

Mr. Obama, I ask that you consider your oath and what it means. Many on your new team are the authors or the worker bees that have shredded our Constitution and Government… FULL ARTICLE

Historical Note–French Revolution

A French-like American Revolution is not inevitable, but as corporations flee the USA and out-source our best jobs to their off-shore enclaves, the social engineering that once locked ordinary Americans into a milquetoast politics of what the superrich will tolerate erodes. Ordinary Americans have less and less to lose by defying the corporate structures, by standing on their own two feet, by devising sustainable economies of scale. Ordinary Americans have more and more to win by setting aside beliefs where they conflict with Constitutional and statute law facts. FULL ARTICLE

Ron Paul and I Stand Alone on Gaza and Israel

It is amazing how much difference a year makes. Besides thanking the 100,000 readerships for helping me shake off some serious cobwebs out, the key person I need to thank is Dr. Ron Paul.

Shortly following one of my first articles, where in prophetic terms, I threw up my hands and concluded that Kosovo was just a “real MESS,” Congressman Paul had the sole nay, as he so often has done, in House Resolution 951, which was a condemnation of “Palestinian rocket attacks on Israeli civilians.” Continue reading →

Obama and Congress Must Act to Restore the Constitution

Obama, running for the White House, initially talked of restoring the constitutional order, and of prosecuting crimes where they had occurred, much as he talked of ending the war in Iraq. But now, as he increasingly assumes the role of President, he is backing away from that kind of talk, with plans instead to extend the war and occupation in Iraq for years, while actually expanding the war in Afghanistan, and to give the outgoing administration of criminals and Constitution-wreckers a free pass, in the name of “letting bygones be bygones.” Ironically, he is doing this even as some in Congress, including House Judiciary Chair John Conyers, who ducked the issue of impeachment and sat on proposed impeachment articles against Bush and Cheney filed by Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) for two critical years when he could have ordered a formal hearing by his committee, are now calling for a special prosecutor. FULL ARTICLE

Three Tests for Our New President

Will Barack Obama find the courage and integrity as president to honor the US Constitution and restore American democracy? Will he be the president the nation really needs? Or will he be the cautious, pragmatic and typical politician focused mostly on addressing our crises and getting a second term? Here are three tests for him.

New Team Same as the Old

This week, I watched the introduction of the new “National Security Team.” I noticed that, during the entire half hour, there was only one tiny reference to our Constitutional rights. The rest was all more military, more “security” more watchfulness.

The final sum up was that we must depend not only on our massive and growing military power, but also to convince the world that we mean it through, oh yeah, some diplomacy, too. Continue reading →

The Silent Votes

by Wayne Bruce Allbin

The door into this millennium opens upon a universe of possibilities. We’ve experienced thousands of years of forms of government all of which were deformed by the power which they concentrated. Some great concepts have been strangled by tyrants; others have been/are being corrupted by greed and the abuse of trust.

As of July 12, 2008, the ratio of persons represented in the House of Representatives to the Representatives increases by one person every ten seconds–3,153,600 persons per year. The longer one is alive, the less one is represented. Continue reading →

Unconstitutional Bailouts and an Unconstitutional Congress

On Wednesday evening the Senate voted 75-24 to originate and approve the raising of $700 BILLION for the derivatives toxic paper bailout of banks and other financial institutions. (ed: still unconstitutional, Reid’s “tacking on” to a previously-existing House bill, notwithstanding) The vote was unconstitutional. Every Senator who voted in favor is in violation of his or her oath to uphold the Constitution — and we can hold every one of them responsible for knowing it. Every Senator who voted for this unconstitutional legislation is a Constitutional Criminal. FULL ARTICLE
