With Obama's signing statements and the included declarations that he intends to ignore the Constitution when he decides that it will interfere with his performance as the Chief Executive, do you think it is time to start a movement for impeachment?

He has clearly violated the law - and he has done it willfully.

I think it is time.

My good friend Benjamin Franklin did his best to warn us. In response to being asked at the close of the Constitutional Convention, ‘Well, Doctor, what have we got—a Republic or a Monarchy?’, Dr. Franklin said, simply, ‘A Republic, if you can keep it.’ A prescient warning, indeed.
But how to keep it? Franklin, a lover of Liberty admits the republican form of government but does not eliminate democracy from it. For our constitution claims Of, By, and For the People. This is a declaration of Democracy if there ever was one. Democracy is not the congressionally empowered, President led [king and his men] government we have given our power to. No the people must form an Assembly and utilizing our Democratic Power, tell congress and the administrator president just what they can and cannot do. Yes we can.

Beautifully and brilliantly channeled, Sean!

We need a Paine, a Jefferson, a Franklin leading us today, with a Will Rogers and Mark Twain to keep it all in perspective, and a Thoreau to remind us both of the importance of living with nature and of keeping the lamp of freedom alight.

What do we have? I won't even dignify their names in my comment, but of the above mentioned, they are NOT!

Again, thank you for passing on Tom's words so eloquently!
