Obama Should Tell California to Drop Dead

A federal bailout would spare California from having to make spending cuts needed to bring its budget into balance. The matter has become urgent since California voters rejected several tax-hiking ballot initiatives. Rather than taking the vote as a signal to dramatically curtail spending, the state turned to the feds. I live in CA and I couldn’t agree more!  Unless people learn from their mistakes – they’ll continue them.   Giving them money after being so fiscally irresponsible is like giving your kid a present for not doing his homework.

I live in Cali and I agree that a bailout wouldn’t do any long term good. There needs to be budget and spending cuts in the areas of state gov where there is too much. I say pay all politicians state minimum wage until the budget is balanced. Afterwords give them “fair” wage instead of insane wage.
