It’s happening daily now, almost hourly-rampant eruptions of violence throughout the so-called developed world. As civilization unravels, the uncivilized behavior of humans is becoming viral, and the culture of empire is quite simply going mad as its values, assumptions, and reasons for existing are evaporating with dizzying speed. For those who are and have been collapse-aware for some time, it is important not only to make sense of the epidemic violence, but to incorporate skillful responses to it. FULL ARTICLE

I am humbled by the intelligence and heartened by the spirit of this post. Well done Carolyn Baker. I am in awe of your “take” on this situation.
When trying to explain why I have chosen the “Ishmael” path of Narbarism as New Tribalism and stand against so much that is erroneous in American Culture, I will refer the interested to this article.
This why I set out in 1963 to begin to build a new culture. This is also why I have mostly failed in this endeavor.
The gems of the American Culture are difficult to incorporate into a new mind set. Even after separating them from the corruption and decay nurtured by an “infantile” people. I too, struggle against my own social immaturity. At least i can see this.
Anyway. This fine article is very meaningful to me.
I thought this was a pretty solid article too. I’ve enjoyed many of Carolyn’s articles on this site. What it all leads me to think about is how life will be much better if someday it could be more local. Local, especially in the government realm.
I understand what you mean Mr. Errea. Local government would presumably be more responsive to The People, but there is still the corrupting influence and domination of the New World Order, through the “big” federal governments.
If only the local governments could build strong cooperative ties with other local communities and their governments.
Therein lies a very strong challenge that We The People have to face and master. Its sure worth a try.
I’ll see if I can find more of Mrs. Bakers articles here.
Dan – Carolyn has plenty of great articles – many of which we’ve carried here:
