Not Gonna Take it Anymore

My mind turns to thoughts of possible retribution when I see the sick policies of the last administration dragging on. Differences mingle between the two parties as the distinctions betwixt the two once held sway, now fade into the quest for power, greed and pay offs, bail outs and ravenous spending. FULL ARTICLE

It’s good to see a little rage here, but it seems to me that the population as  whole is far more complacent.  They really believe that more war, more debt, more consumerism, and more inflation can get us into a good place again.

I’m not gonna take it anymore either!  But what do i do?  I’m not interested in “revolution” unless it’s peaceful resistance.

Well, let’s see where we stand here, under the Obamanation.
We are running for election to the UN Human Rights Council

I really don’t see how we can be on the Human Rights Council when we are killing people wholesale in far off lands, and supporting the Israeli slaughter of the Palestinians.
Any nation that routinely vetoes any attempt by the rest of the world to curb the Israelis certainly doesn’t deserve a seat.
We should wait until we can prove, by our actions, that we again belong in the company of civilized nations. (Unfortunately, Hell may well be pretty well frozen over by then) Then we should petition. Right now, we taint everything we touch.
Then we are widening the drone wars in Pakistan
On the one hand, we are joining the UN Human Rights Council, while on the other we are upping our “killing by remote control” quota in far off lands. No Pashtun or Taliban wants to invade us, they simply want us out of their country and to leave them alone, as we would anyone who invaded and occupied us. They are fighting us as best they can, as we also would do to any invader.
Let us pay more attention to human rights around the world, not as a self-appointed and paranoid world cop, but as concerned human beings.
Obama White house close to secret settlement on missing Bush e-mails.

It will be a handshake behind closed doors, kiss and make up and the Bush Gang will walk and the Obamians won’t talk, and We the People can go skiing until the avalanche hits.
Behind those closed doors will be an undisclosed financial settlement and an agreement to keep everything confidential. Let’s just hope there is a whistleblower in the wings. Otherwise it will be “All quiet in the Obamanation.”
Add this to what Mr. Baker has already stated and he’s pretty much right on.

Right you are, Steve.  Turns out there were a decent number of bush admin whistleblowers, I hope we don’t need to wait years for this new crop of crooks.
