You might be surprised to learn that car-jacking isn’t really a crime, nor is any other armed robbery. You see, the targets of such “crimes” are not, as it turns out, victims of forcible coercion at all.
No, in reality they “voluntarily” surrendered their property, so it doesn’t count as violence, and therefore doesn’t count as a crime. (And, as you’ll soon see, just because the car-jacker WOULD have used overt violence if the “jackee” didn’t “volunteer” to donate his car, that doesn’t make it force either.)
If that sounds stupid to you (and I hope it does), listen to the Dishonorable, Utterly Insane, Megalomaniacal Psycho, Harry Reid, arguing exactly that when it comes to government theft (which they call “taxation”):
Talk about “newspeak.” How stupid do the politicians think Americans are — and for that matter, how stupid ARE most Americans — for our “representatives” to be claiming that “taxes” are NOT the use of force? It’s one thing to try to use spin and euphemisms to draw attention away from the violence behind all man-made “laws,” but to outright DENY it — that’s utterly insane.
“Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it is force.” [George Washington]
What I wonder is whether Harry Reid has so lost his mind that he BELIEVES his own paradoxical propaganda, or whether he just thinks the American people are so stupid that any of them would BUY such utter lunacy. And the next thing I wonder is, how many Americans WOULD fall for such idiotic, Orwellian bullpoop? A majority, probably.
