The baby boomer generation kept on propagating the great lies of the times..Don’t trust anyone over 35( when it was those who were 35 & over )who kept telling us that. we are to turn on tune in and drop out, be anti-establishment( and sadly) we became worse than the “establishment” of that time.a wee bit later when we from being college radicals we changed into Yuppie scum…where we  proffessed…Greed is Good! And even later…as in now…we baby boomers who left a large mark on America have made one more…we became lobbiests who took away the voice of the voters…how ? The lobbiests are heard and seen 9 times out of 10 compared with anyone from a congressional district or senator’s home state… and here..we the people sat there on our hands and let it all happen…what a legacy we are leaving our grandchildren & great grand children isn’t it ?? And here there are people from all over the world still want to come here and enjoy what American stood for…for what freedoms we still have…despite all of our faults, problems…warts & All…go figure…

Yup, lobbyists rule the coop, don’t they?  Why is pretty simple to me.  Because the Federal Governmet HAS TOO MUCH POWER!  If it’s power was severely or strictly limited, there’d be nothing to gain by lobbying.
