The Federal Reserve system not only allows the politicians to continually lower the value of our dollar, but also gives them the power to print at will – and fund virtually anything they want. Bailouts, wars, and the like – would they be able to pay for them if they didn’t have a source of “unlimited” money?

What they told people was that the Fed was going to help the economy, but that was a total lie. What they really wanted to do was hijack our monetary system, and they were quite successful at that.

The federal reserve being controlled by banking interests is, well interesting – and yes, bad too.
But the real problem isn’t WHO runs the fed, or WHO prints the money, it’s the monopoly control over money that’s the issue. so even if it was some “public” bureau instead, we’d still have paper dollars backed by air. We need to eliminate all legal tender laws.
