Bush Regime Declares Itself Above the Law

If only American laws applied to the American government. Then the criminals who have been in charge for 8 years could be prosecuted for their extreme violation of United States laws. But, of course, the great moral American government is far above the law. American law only applies to dispensable nations. America is not answerable to law, not to its own law and not to international law. US attorney general Michael Mukasey affirmed that the US government is above all law when he told the Senate Judiciary Committee that there would be no investigation or prosecution of those Bush regime officials who authorized torture and those who carried out the sadistic acts.  FULL ARTICLE

Please correct your post.  It is basic information and widely known that John Yoo is of Korean ancestry, NOT Vietnamese.  Yoo is a Korean name, and South Korea and Vietnam must be about a thousand miles apart.  I question the lack of research or lack of editorial oversight on your site.  I hope to visit your site in the future as a fellow populist.  Let’s hope this one was just out of character.

Sue, thanks for the input. We serve primarily as a place to voice opinions, not as investigative journalists. But yes, this was a pretty basic piece of information that should’ve been caught by editors before being posted.

Any thoughts on the article itself – the issue of torture, etc?
