A lot of people have been conditioned to believe that gay marriage means the fall of civilization. Think of how surprised people were to realize that, in places where it has been allowed (and by largely conservative justices, by the way), the sky didn’t fall. I’m saddened to see Mr. Card retread such shallow and fallacious talking points as these. They are biologically, historically and socially ignorant, and I thank you for bringing them to my attention.
Yeah, it’s really sad – if not disgusting – to see these kinds of positions. In the 21st century can it still be discarded as ignorance? I hope it’s as benign as that! Great article
Homosexuality is a disgusting unforgivable sin. The government should not be overthrown. What should take place is a revisiting of the holocaust. Only with homosexuals. Homosexuals are the disgusting slime here, not Card.
Homosexuality is a sin against the Christian religion. And I am sure it is a sin against other religions.
All you religious people who think that the religious sin of Homosexuality is a sin punishable by death, do you believe in the Ten Commandments?
And whether it is against the law or not, didn’t Jesus say leave to Caesar that which is Caesars?
From that I get that the law of Caesar is not to be enforced by believers. Although I believe that the act of Homosexuality is unnatural and a sin, I don’t think it is against the law. And if it is not, then it is none of my business what others do that is not illegal.
God will handle the other end of it. He didn’t ask me to punish Homosexuals.
No we should not kill people over Gay marriage. I don’t have to worry about me being involved in one of those marriages.
This website is not a place to advocate violence against anyone, anytime. Alex has been permanently banned from commenting in the future, but I left this comment up for people to see the insane positions that people take out of hatred for other people.
Many of the problems we face today are due to this kind of thinking – people wanting to control what other people do, and how other people act. They want to control them so badly that they’d rather murder people en masse than let them make their own personal choices.
